“State of Mind” was a small short film, and the first time I’ve formally written and directed something where I would also play the main character.
Based on real experiences I had, this was the first time I worked with a DP. Brandon C. Lay, an accomplished filmmaker, helped me film the short. It was a great learning experience, as a writer and director, but most especially as an actor.
